João Catalão graduated in Civil Engineering at IST. He has been working for QUADRANTE since 2002. He participated in several reference projects in the Buildings Business Unit, in particular, the structural design of the Freeport in Alcochete, the expansion of the Alegro Alfragide Shopping Centre, the expansion of Lisbon Airport and tenders for public-private hospitals. In 2006, he obtained a Master's degree in Rehabilitation of Architectural Heritage from FEUP and in 2010 he took on the role of Project Manager in the Buildings area, leading and managing multidisciplinary projects in the real estate segment. At the international level, he was responsible for several projects in Angola and Brazil, in particular, the expansion of the Fortaleza Airport.
